The Heart of Zen: Coming Home to Ourselves, Each Other, and Our Planet

The most subtle form of love is attention. During this 5-day silent retreat, we will practice attending to our experience of being human in a more subtle and embodied way, moment by moment, breath by breath. We will develop a greater sense of understanding and care for ourselves and our world through the transformative practice of compassionate awareness.

Each day will include periods of sitting and walking meditation, Dharma talks, deep time in nature, and personal guidance sessions with Eden. We will also engage in relational mindfulness practices for dissolving the self through interconnection and intimacy, and mindful eating, which helps us to learn how to slow down… and savor life.

Meditation and mindfulness teach us how to make the simple and revolutionary shift from judgment to self-acceptance, from striving to ease, and from delusion to clarity. Relational mindfulness helps us to embody the spacious awareness that is our natural state. Practicing compassionate awareness in this way brings the insights that help us to awaken to our full potential.

The retreat is suitable for new and experienced practitioners.
