Letting Go of Fear


FEAR…. False Evidence Appearing Real. Even though we know fear does not serve us, we sometimes get overcome by fear. We allow it to stop us or limit us. We might not even be aware of the ways it drives us and makes us smaller than we are. Do we push it away? Dive into it? Try to transcend it and become fearless? How do we bring compassion and wisdom to becoming friends with fear? In this online course, through meditation, awareness exercises, guided imagery, and facilitated group discussion, we will apply the practice of conscious compassionate awareness to our relationship with fear. We will bring radical presence, compassion, and empowerment to our relationship with fear and gain tools and insights for how to experience greater equanimity, authentic courage, and more personal freedom through awareness practice in daily life. You will be encouraged to use your life as a laboratory for choosing freedom over fear throughout our time together.

This course takes place on a simple online platform, Gotomeeting. It is easy to use and to navigate. There will be a recording from each week posted, in case you need to miss a class, and weekly awareness practices and inquiry to help you integrate the work into daily life. There are a limited number of spaces in this course, to ensure for an intimate group experience, so please register as early as possible if you want to reserve a space.
