Mindful Sexuality:

Moving Beyond the Sex and Spirit Divide

I offer this course annually because I feel deeply that a safe, reverent,  down-to-earth, and radically honest space is needed by so many of us to go beyond the sex-spirit divide and bring compassionate awareness practice to the realm of sexuality. The purpose of practice is to end suffering and deepen our capacity for freedom and wholehearted living as human beings. We cannot do so if we leave sexuality out of dharma practice, in a separate category. The purpose of this series is to affirm erotic intelligence as a vital component for awakening. – Deborah Eden Tull

Everyone is welcome: meditators and non-meditators, those who are sexually active or in relationship and those who are not, people of every gender and sexual orientation.

This series will involve 4 group meetings via conference call, at home work and practice, and 1 personal 50-minute phone session for personal guidance. Eden will guide people through meditation, mindful inquiry, offer dharma talks, and facilitate group discussion. The bulk of the work happens in-between group sessions as you will be given questions, assignments, and practices to explore and enjoy.

A safe space will be held for an exploration of all aspects of our lives as sexual beings.

Together, in a supportive and compassionate container, we will examine and release our conditioning around sexuality and bring deeper curiosity and wakefulness to this realm of life. There is pervasive conditioning in our world today that divides sexuality and spirituality; in this workshop series, we will bring healing to that divide.

This series will include meditation and mindfulness, conscious movement, relational mindfulness, guided imagery, and facilitated group discussion. All are welcome.
