DIY Course: Relational Mindfulness

Relational mindfulness:

Cultivating presence, Courage, Collective awakening

AN IMMERSION IN RELATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

DIY Course

Every relationship we will ever have begins with the quality of our relationship with our self – not just small self, but the heart of our being. This workshop teaches the dharma of deep listening and relational intelligence. It offers the medicine of shared presence for personal and collective awakening.

Our capacity for genuine connection, clear seeing, intimacy, and collaboration ultimately stems from our willingness to meet life, moment by moment, from presence. Relational mindfulness offers training in how to use every moment, every conversation, and every relationship to deepen our embodiment presence. The foundation of relational mindfulness is understanding that attention is the most subtle form of Love. This experiential workshop will transform how you listen, how you love, and are loved. It will empower you to stay more fully present in the beautiful, messy, and dynamic field of human relating, and to use every aspect of life for awakening.

Stemming from Zen meditation, Relational Mindfulness offers 9 powerful principles and practices for remembering who we are: Intention, The Sacred Pause, Deep Listening, Mindful Inquiry and Clear Seeing, Transparency, Not Taking Personally, Taking Responsibility, Turning Towards Rather Than Away, and Compassionate Action. As we release the mind of separation, we come home to the heart of our being. As we let go of personal conditioning, we release systemic conditioning and can part in collective transformation.

SUMMARY OF COURSE:

In this time of global change, there is an opportunity to remember and fully embody the relational intelligence, empathy, and WE consciousness that are our natural states. We all crave deeper connection, and at this moment in history, there is a great tear in the fabric of human relationship. This course teaches the dharma of relational intelligence and offers medicine for us individually and collectively.

Our capacity for genuine connection, understanding, intimacy, and collaboration ultimately stems from our willingness to meet life, moment by moment, from presence and courage. Relational mindfulness offers training in how to use every interaction and every relationship to deepen our capacity for presence. Through practicing deep listening, vulnerability, clear seeing, mindful inquiry, and curiosity, we wake up to our innate relational intelligence. The foundation of relational intelligence is knowing that our greatest strength is our sensitivity. Join me for an exploration that will transform how you listen, how you engage, how you love, and are loved. It will empower you to stay fully present in the beautiful and dynamic field of human relating, and to use every aspect of your life for awakening. It will also offer profound medicine for collective transformation in this time of global uncertainty.

Relational Mindfulness offers 9 powerful principles for finding freedom in how we relate. These practices stem from Zen meditation and were developed by Deborah Eden Tull during her transition from 7 years at a silent Zen Buddhist Monastery to life in the megatropolis of Los Angeles. Foundational to these teachings is the understanding that my welfare and your welfare is inextricably interlinked. The cultivation of WE conciseness is one of the most important realizations we can give ourselves to. As we release personal conditioning, we bring compassionate awareness to systemic conditioning and can take  joyful responsibility for our part in collective transformation.

Realizing that people on the path of consciousness need a much clearer bridge for how to bring meditation to the realm of relationships, socializing, community, and human dynamics, she has created a powerful program and book to take people into deeper  embodiment of practice. This series is based on Eden’s book, Relational Mindfulness: A Handbook for Deepening Our Connection with Ourselves, Each Other, and The Planet (Wisdom Publications, May 2018).
